T: Hello, dear friends! I am glad to see you! Our theme for today is
”Sport. Olympic Games” We are going to sum up our knowledge on the topic "Keeping Fit” and "Sport”. Our lesson will be
in the form of a quiz game. Let`s divide into 2 teams. I shall lead the game
but I need 2 helpers to estimate teams.
The motto of our game will be " The quickest! The cleverest!” I wish you : "Good luck!”

Развитие навыков речемыслительной деятельности, критического мышления.
T:Right you are. But why do people go in for sport? What kinds of sport
and where do people do sports? To answer these questions you should read the
text. Слайд 3( Приложение 1)
T: Read the text and mark the facts with some signs:

I think it will be interesting for you to know some facts from the
history of the Olympic Games. Listen to the radio programme and fill in the
gaps. Remember” Time is money”.

for help. Here is one of this letters. Let`s read it.(слайд10)

P2: He hasn`t got friends.
T: I think sport can help to solve all his problems. Do you agree?
Ch: We do.
T: Put the words in the right order and you will read the rules that can

Different people like different kinds of sport. As for me, I like
volleyball. And what about you?

T: Great! In your teams create your own design for a T-shirt for Bob.
The theme is " My favourite sport”. Tell us about your favourite sport. Good
luck!
P1: You want to be healthy- Go in
for tennis!
P2: You like to run?!You like to jump?! Basketball is your game!
T: I like your work. We`ll send these T-shirts to Bob. I think he will
make the right choice.
